Every film begins with a story. At Steerpoint Media, we are story-tellers.
First, we ask questions. We listen intently. We actually hear our clients’ responses. It helps us to identify what story needs to be told. Who would benefit from hearing this story?
Do you already have an organizational concept of what you would like your video to contain? What parts of the story can be told informationally – and, what emotions can we influence? What audience perceptions need to be changed?
Finally, what are your plans to distribute this video ? Website, email, social media, etc – – and, would you like help on a promotional plan?
Based upon the above answers, SteerPoint Media will create a plan of action that can include:
- A project outline. This document contains concepts, a general order of production and an overall explanation of the theme.
- A script treatment. This is more detail than the outline and requires a higher degree of pre-planning.
- A Story Board. This is the highest level of preplanning merging a script treatment with visual approximations of the video we plan to capture.
